how you can help?
HH is committed to providing food, clothing ,medical00, and
dental care ,a safe ,loving and secure environment an education to those children who either
don’t have 0 care of them .
Every child
deserves to have a life surrounded by love, provided with nutritious food,
guided, into knowledge by competent and caring teachers and kept healthy and
safe by loving parents.
Every child
should have that. But not every child does, sadly.
You can share a part of sorrow from them and turn
them into joy and share the beautiful of being in the
world with us.
You can sponsor a child or make any kind of donation
and, if you want, you can designate what your donation will
be used for.
sponsor a child
When you sponsor a child, you provide meals, clothing,
shelter, medical care, an education for a child in desperate need. The children
in our homes come from difficult
backgrounds and they each need the emotional encouragement that comes
from knowing someone cares about them personally.
We will send you a letter about your child including their
history, a photograph, date of birth and
the other information about their needs. Once a year you will receive
a new photo of your child as well as a progress report that will give
the child’s school grades and information about their social and academic
progress. At least once a year the child
will write you a letter telling you
about herself or himself.
You can sponsor a child for 17 euro per month.

Our future plans include making sure the children are raised in a loving, peaceful environment that provides them with proper education both academic and spiritual to become decent and productive members of society in order to earn an honest living in whatever way they choose and be in good and loving relationships .We are preparing them for their life work with skills they can use to become employed and in the family environment to raise good, loving and children in accordance with
the lessons they
have themselves learned here .As well
,as the children get older, we would
like to send them to a school (a close
by village) for a couple of years because we are not having a good enough
rooms for schooling and residential. In the meantime we
are also applying with the government to become an accreted school so the
children can earn their degrees from this institution without having to go to
outside sources Our Happy Home works with carefully screened and Children’s to
hostel to provide a loving and nurturing environment in which children with
traumatic backgrounds can start a new life . Future, we want to help them
complete their education and become functioning members of society .
about the children?
as of today we
have 32 children which includes 8 boys
and 24 girls . The older children attend school during the day outside of Happy
home Trust , and the younger children are in the process of learning the basic
tools in order to begin school when they reach the appropriate age
Most of the
children are indigent street children who come from the lower economic section
of the country and who have not had the privilege of attending any kind of
school which means they have had no formal education what so ever at age 9 or
10 .They also are hungry ,dirty and scared when they come to us and we must
work with them to help make them feel safe and wanted ,then we help them to not
only be presentable outside world but we
must also give them some kind of education in order for them to have a decent
start in life.

the welfare of homeless, orphans and street children and the children belonging
to weaker economic section that are not availing any formal schooling.
“I don’t know
how Ranjeeta does it with 34 children ,but she is doing an excellent job with
all of these children”
some local
background
Some of the
villagers in India, sons are preferred
to daughters and when a poor family has a second or third daughter the
infant is often left at the gates of the nearest orphanage. The children we support are filled with girls who
were abandoned by their families because of gender selection.
how we survive?
The cost of
running the home on a monthly basis is
approximately 50,000 thousand rupees
plus or minus depending on the unexpected costs that we might incur. However,in
the month of June when school
resumes our expenses increases to
2,45000 rupees as we must pay their fees,
buy their needs and
transportation
Our income
comes from many sources through donations .many devotees of Swami who
come to the orphanage on their visit to Puttaparthi make donations upon seeing
the facility and the children. The majority of the money goes for food, clothing, shoes medicine, books and school supplies, education, utilities
such as gas ,water for washing clothes and bathing and pure drinking water for
the residents of the home, electricity, maintetence on the home and grounds (the landlord does not
contribute anything towards the maintenance
fees on the home and grounds ),kitchen equipment, utensils and household items, internet ,mobiles ,doctor (if a major test to be done
on a child then we must pay for that test), transportation via auto rickshaw
and on occasion by taxi .
